- Host an I CARE House Café (once a month dinners served at the House where kids can take their parents to "sit down" dinnner for $1 per person) -organizations can prepare or purchase catering for the dinner, individuals can be servers or decorators
- Help organize holiday parties for kids
- Help organize a penny carnival, block party, weekly hot dog roast
- Help organize annual I CARE House Awards Program each Febraury
- Prepare one substantive snack each week for kids
- Lead special interest clubs for kids
- Be a Homework Coach
- Listen to a child read
- Teach kids how to play the piano (we have an electronic keyboard)
- Be a chaperone on a field trip with the kids
- Organize/sponsor a field trip for kids (bowling, skating, swimming, etc)
- Offer a special interest club for senior citizens or other adults
- Do a travel log presentaiton about somewhere you've gone for the seniors who come for lunch
- Donate printing and/or postage for flyers, newsletters, and other information
- Data entry of member information into database
- Send out reminder notices/phone calls to members
- Provide legal, accounting, or other professional service
- Distribute newsletter around town
- Teach senior citizens computer skills
- Use your green thumb in the I CARE Garden
- Help mow our lawn (we have mowers)
- Be our "Mr. or Ms. Fix-It" when something breaks
- Get items for the kids' "I CARE House store" (rewards store
- Organize fundraisers
- Organize various clothing drives at certain times of the year
- Organize other supply drives as need (back-to-school, backpacks, hygiene items, etc.)
- Make a commitment to roll up your sleeves and serve on the I CARE House board of directors
